Every man is a :

Man, Spirit, Soul & Body

Man is basically a spirit in a mould; the interaction and interrelationship between the mould (vessel or container) and the spirit produces the soul in time.

  • The spirit does not feel or emote;
  • It is the body (mould) that emotes;
  • The mind is the connector between the spirit and the body;
  • The will is the connector between the spirit and the body;
  • The will is the influence of the spirit on the mould (body);
  • The emotion is the contact or connector of man with the environment or outside world.

Whenever the spirit leaves the mould, vessel or house; the vessel becomes empty or lifeless (dead). Death is therefore the departure of the spirit from the body (mould, vessel or house).

At creation, God’s Spirit filled the mould, vessel or body of man; that is, the man then was not just a mould and a spirit; but a mould, a spirit and God’s Spirit.

When man rebelled against God, the Spirit of God left man, which resulted to the immediate death and the eventual death of the first man and woman. In the Kingdom of heaven, death is the absence of the Spirit of God in or on anything. On earth, death is the absence of a spirit from a body or vessel. Therefore, a man could be dead to God, but alive to the people.

And the LORD said, “My Spirit shall not strive (abide) with man forever, for he is indeed flesh (a mould); yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6:3

In another instance, a man could be dead to the people, but alive to God. However, it is equally possible for a man to be alive to the people and also alive to God.

The interplay of the body (vessel) and spirit results to life on earth; while the interplay of a man’s spirit and God’s Spirit results to life in heaven. (Matthew 27:50-53)

To men, Jesus died on the cross (Matthew 27:50); but to God, Christ lives forever in full dominion and authority in heaven and on earth.

Ultimately, bodily illnesses are products of fainting or weak spirits: for bodies are usually lifeless without the spirit; and in spite of the number of days of the separation of a man’s body from the spirit in death; whenever the spirit returns – life returns.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh (body or vessel or container) profits nothing….

John 6:63

Good health is not therefore a matter of bodily care or treatment; but spiritual edification. Hence, a man can recover from any illness or disease through a spiritual encounter, renewal, impartation or development.

By the spirit, any man or woman can live a healthy, long and safe life here on earth. (Matthew 28:63-66; Matthew 28:5-7; Matthew 228:16-20).
